This is Julia! She was transferred to BBR from a commercial breeder who no longer wanted her. Typical of dogs from these settings she is shy and unused to living in a house or being on a leash. She is sweet, friendly and playful. She gets along with other dogs but finds cats a little intimidating. Part of her ear is missing from some past trauma. Julia must go to a home with a secure fence currently in place (not underground fencing) as she is very hard to catch if she should get outside. She is still easily frightened by many things, including being touched. She would also do best in a quiet household without young children. Another dog in the home would likely help Julia acclimate as she is more comfortable with other dogs than people. She does best on a regular routine, and definitely needs her kennel as that is her safe place. She likely has some hearing loss too though she is not deaf.
