Daily Routine: I sleep, eat, potty, sleep.
What I love to do: I love to get pets, sleep, have treats, and sniff every blade of grass in the yard when we go outside!
Personal goals: I never learned any commands during my first 14.5 years - not even house training. My foster mom Erica has finally taught me to do my business outside and to let her know when I need to go. Who needs more goals than that?
Favorite activity with my best friend: My best friends are humans. My foster sister, who just went somewhere called the "rainbow bridge" and I had a truce at best, and she taught me that cats are evil beings. I'm not sure about that - at least one of the cats who reside here with me seems to be pleasant enough!
Kind of family I want someday: I want some people who want to be near me all the time. My foster mom calls me her "velcro dog" - what ever that means. I would like short walks with lots of interesting smells. I'd like a family with lots of fleecy blankets for me to nest in, and a never ending food bowl!! (Side note from mom - Otis has been on a prescription diet for awhile now. It has finally cleared up his 6-month course of diarrhea and we're very careful about feeding him anything else!)
Biggest fears in life: I don't fear anything! Nothing bothers me - mom has to poke me with the vacuum cleaner hose to get me to shift over. I don't mind thunder or fireworks - I'm a pretty laid back fellow, until I get excited about dinner time!
Ideal weekend plans: I'd like to go outside and roll in the grass awhile, have breakfast, and take a nap on my humans' feet. Then I'd like to go back out and watch the squirrels and bunnies in the back yard. (Mom says I'm easy to re-direct and don't pull too hard, so I'd be a great dog for someone who doesn't have a lot of strength in their arms.) Maybe a nap after that, and maybe a snack or two. Or three. By then it would be dinner time - and I would let you know how happy I am about that! Afterwards I'd enjoy a long evening watching TV with my people and getting lots of ear rubs and pets. Yup, that sounds like a perfect weekend to me!
