Fostered In Wisconsin
I Daily Routine: Hi, my name is Buddy and I am new to Wisconsin because I came from Texas. I spend my days learning the rules of the house like how to get along nice with another dog and how to stay down off the counters. I already know how to love my people! Foster mom says a training class would be good for me because I am so smart I could really be a well mannered boy.
What I love to do: I love to chase balls and sticks!!! Let's play fetch! I have a lot of energy, though I will settle quickly when it's time. But I love running and it turns out I love SNOW and when I zoom around outside, foster mom can just see my black spots go flashing by!
Personal goals: I am so curious about everything in the house! But apparently I am not supposed to put my feet on the counter so I am learning "down". While I am not food aggressive, I do sometimes try to be dominant with the other dog in my house. I need to be the only dog or with another dog that is laid back and an owner that will firmly let me know I am not the boss.
Favorite thing with my best friend: I really love attention from my people and do well with other dogs as long as we are being observed.
Kind of family I want: I have a tendency to pick up small things that are left around the house so I would do best with older children who don't leave toys around and people that will exercise me as I have energy to burn. A firm family that will establish rules is important for me.
Biggest fears: I don't like LOUD NOISES, such as the vacuum cleaner but I have gotten used to the fact that it exists.
Ideal weekend plans: I'd love to spend the weekend watching squirrels and running around playing with my new family. I have lots of energy so a big fenced yard is ideal for me.
