Hi, my name is Elliot and I was picked up as a stray. Shelter staff called me a grandpa, and I do like to snuggle and hide under my blankie. But foster mom says I also have a stubborn and mischievous side too! She says I am lots of fun and such a sweet boy. I love people so much and dogs are really great. My new home will need to be cat free, however. I love riding in the car. I love walks too but do pull so those skills could use some work. I'll do anything for a treat, and my first trick was "sit" but now I am working on "shake" and "down". I am mostly potty trained but mom keeps an eye on me because occassionally I sneak off to do my business in the basement. (It's cold outside!) I do not do well crated and will cry for a while, but with the cat in my current home, it is necessary. Mom thinks I would be fine not crated, so hopefully that will be the case in my forever home. I'm not a big chewer at all. although she got me an elk antler I like. I also have a funny habbit of sucking on my blankie. Overall, I am a loveable, social, quirky character, as most bulldogs are!
As is often the case with bulldogs, Elliot suffers from dry eye and will need eye medication for the rest of his life. He is a good boy an handles it well.
If Elliot might be the right addition to your family, please fill out the Adoption Application found under the "Adoption" heading and a volunteer will reach out to you.
