Short Stumpy Mix
Hi, I am a little mix of some sort from Texas. I'm short and stumpy, but pretty small so I don't likely have any basset blood, but no one knows for sure. Here is what you need to know about me!
Daily Routine: I like to start my day by sticking my nose right in your face, early, because I need to go potty. Then I like to run and jump on the bed and snuggle and love some people. I enjoy eating and that doesn't take long. Then I like to rumble-usually with the big dogs. I am not intimidated one bit, I like to wrestle and bounce and rough house a while. Tug-of-war is so fun. I enjoy riding in the car to drop off kids at school! Kids are great and I want to play with all of them that I see through the window. At home I spend my day between naps and rumbling with the other dogs, and racing around the fenced yard. I'm tuckered out in the evening which helps me stay out of trouble through the night!
What I love to do: I enjoy wrestling and cuddling and attention in general!
Personal goals: I had a doggie door previously and that was working out fine but now I don't so I definitely need potty training work.
Favorite thing to do with my best friend: Cooper the coonhound is my best dog friend and we run laps outside, and I jump all over him!
Kind of family I want: I need a family who will not crate me because I get all worked up and it is a big disaster. However, I am young and playful so long hours alone will cause boredom and destruction for sure. My previous foster worked 4 long days and that did not work out. I need someone home not necessarily all day, but a good part of it. I've been ok 2-3 hours so far and up to 5 hours one time. But that is also because I get to much activity when they are home and I have other dogs to be with always.
Biggest fears: Being left alone in a crate.
Ideal weekend plans: I love sitting on legs and curling up with dogs and playing and running! It's great to have a fenced yard for zooming in! I like riding in the car and being with my family.
